These reasons/facts proves that elon musk hyperloop idea might not be brilliant afterall.

A similar project(swissmetro) fail in 2000 because of feasibilty
problem.

 

Humans might not be able to cope with the experience of travelling

in a tube a a speed closer to that of sound because of air being

compressed and ducted round the capsule.

Hyperloop is still in a pod, that is no prototype yet and with solar
planes getting closer to reality its speed, reach and reduction
in cost of traveling might makes the Hyperloop obsolete.

And the legal battles. Hyperloop will travel over other peoples land

some might agree at a cost or some will disagree with passion.

Or 3.5 quake that is enough to make the capsule pop out of track
and explode because of its velocity.

Current infrastructure are not compatible with hyperloop so a
new infrastructure like expensive elevated routes will be needed

 

Because of the cost of infrastructure intercontinental travelling
will not be feasible.
